August 13th workplace optimism story in business week

this is a great story. the headline - engaged employees yeild more sales and profits. so it is natural to ask - what do empowered employees do? how about employees that are micro managed vs those that aren't? these and other additional questions i believe are key to successful businesses - good times or bad.

new facebook application for the iPhone - way cool. hopefully it will resolve a few of the frustrations as well as the listed improvements here. until it's release, the blackberry version is better.
